Physical features
Because they are identical twins, Fred and George are... well... identical. They have red hair and are slightly stocky. Neither of them are very tall (although Fred is 5'9" and slightly taller than George, who is 5'8").
Fred and George are difficult to tell apart because they look so alike physically that their own mother has trouble telling them apart at times. George, however, is very slightly shorter than his twin, and bites his nails. Fred has a habit of tapping on everything, especially with his feet. Also, George is older by a minute, and doesn't often let his younger brother Fred forget that.
Personality
George was obviously a notorious trouble maker when he attended Hogwarts with his twin brother, Fred. Like Fred, he is outgoing, a practical joker, and very clever. While they are very similar in personality, one thing that sets George apart from his brother is that he doesn't act on impulse as much as Fred does. George is more considerate and selfless than Fred -- which is not to say that his brother is inconsiderate or selfish, but rather that George simply puts more thought into his actions rather than rushing into things. He is very deliberate in the things that he does, and is compassionate and helpful to others when he needs to be, regardless of whether or not it's immediately apparent -- often this is overshadowed by the outgoing, joking and ambitious side that he shares with his twin.
